Anyone who watches birds, whether in your backyard or out in the wild, can contribute to bird conservation by submitting their bird lists online at eBird.com. eBird is a free, easy-to-use, citizen science observation database operated by Cornell University and the National Audubon Society. Every time someone contributes information to this database, our understanding of bird populations and movements are improved, which ultimately helps natural resource managers and scientists better address bird conservation issues. Airlie, which is listed as an eBird HotSpot, participates in this program because it helps the birds and organizes our own bird data. Click HERE to see Airlie’s bird data on eBird.com.
