A message from Airlie Gardens: Coronavirus/COVID-19
UPDATE | March 30th 2020
As of March 30, 2020 Airlie Gardens will be closed to the public and remain closed until April 13th 2020 unless rescinded earlier or extended. This is in accordance with New Hanover County’s State of Emergency, which can be viewed in full here. We hope that this proactive measure will help mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
In addition, all garden events, tours, private rentals and programming have been postponed until further notice. Garden staff will work with schools and other groups who have planned trips to reschedule them. The Garden’s private events staff will work with currently booked clients on a case by case basis. If you attempt to reach a member of our staff by phone or email, please excuse any delay in response.
Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation. We encourage the public to remain informed and rely on New Hanover County as a trusted resource. The county will provide updates as needed regarding any significant developments in our response. To stay up-to-date on information and guidance, please refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We will continue to monitor the situation on an ongoing basis and make decisions based on the best available information. We hope this information helps you feel more informed when making personal decisions for yourself and your family, and thank you for your continued support. The Garden looks forward to offering you a place to relax, explore and connect, but until then, stay well!
