Bird Walk

Wednesday, June 11th | 8am – 9:30am

Fly Over to Airlie

Enjoy a stroll around the grounds without the crowds while we see what’s flying! We will look for resident and migrating birds, and learn basic birding skills! No experience is necessary, all are welcome. Binoculars are available on a first come first serve basis. This event is co-hosted with our partner, Jill Peleuses from Wild Bird & Garden and cofounder of Cape Fear Bird Observatory. This program is recommended for ages 12 and up.

  • Airlie is recognized on the North Carolina Birding Trail as a Coastal Region site.
  • Check out Airlie’s HotSpot on eBird.org, a free, easy-to-use, citizen science observation database.
