What do our birds do in the evening? Come explore the garden as our birds prepare for the night’s activities! No experience is necessary, all are welcome. Binoculars are available on a first come first serve basis. This event is co-hosted with our partner, Wild Bird and Garden!

  • Airlie is recognized on the North Carolina Birding Trail as a Coastal Region site.
  • Check out Airlie’s HotSpot on eBird.org, a free, easy-to-use, citizen science observation database.

Advance tickets are required and must be purchased online. Airlie Members do have to reserve in advance.

Birders of all levels are welcome. Recommended age is 12+. Attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring binoculars and a bird guide if you have them. We have a limited number of binoculars available for check-out.

Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
