Butterfly House
Surround yourself in serenity by visiting Airlie’s 2,700-square foot native butterfly house. Butterflies, all native to North Carolina, can be found flying inside this open-air structure. Exhibit is open seasonally and included in general garden admission.
Native Wildlife Exhibit
This seasonal educational display is filled with terrariums and an aquarium featuring some of the gardens native wildlife!

Art Exhibit – Birds of a Feather
This year's exhibit will feature ten fiberglass bird sculptures! Each sculpture will be uniquely decorated by selected artists and placed on display in the garden, July 11th through December 31st 2025. Special thanks to The Landfall Foundation for their support of BIRDS OF A FEATHER!
